BHPB Iron Ore                                                         RGP 5 Rail Project

Construction of 10 dual track rail bridges in the remote Pilbara region of WA. Bridges are located between Port Hedland and Redmont and are part of the $500m vertical package under construction.

Project taken from Definition Phase Study through to current Execution Phase with completion due in late 2010.

Fortescue Metals Group                                         Track and Bridge Alliance

Construction of 8 rail bridges in the remote Pilbara region of WA. Bridges are located between Port Hedland and Newman.

2006/2007 Bridge__Value $50m

Newgen Kwinana Power Station                            Kwinana Ocean Outfall

Installation of a 1.8 metre ID concrete outfall pipeline extending 320 metres offshore into Cockburn Sound, Kwinana, WA. The project involved offshore construction of a 324 metres long by 10m wide temporary jetty, 700 metres long of sheetpile installation and extraction, 15 metre deep underwater excavation, reinforced concrete pipe installation, precision backfill and flexmat installation.__Value $10m

Rio Tinto Iron Ore                                                    Mesa A Rail Project - Robe River Bridge

Supervision of the construction of the Major Bridge over the Robe River in the remote Pilbara region of WA for Pilbara Iron.  Bridge__Value $30m

Rio Tinto Iron Ore                                                    Deepdale Line 

Significant flood damage was sustained in early 2009 to the Deepdale Line. Brooklyn Engineering provided advice to Rio Tinto Iron Ore regarding Bridge No 11 at Chainage 126. A number of options were considered at this location and worked through for construct-ability and feasibility.

Projects taken through Study and Bid Phase

Laing O’Rourke                                                        South West Rail Link

Assistance on the bid for the SWRL Project. The Design and Construction of the Glenfield to Leppington Rail line involved earthworks, bridges, tracklaying and overhead traction system as well as two new stations. The works extend westward from the Glenfield South flyover and include 10.5km of new twin track rail line, new stations at Leppington and Edmondson Park and a stabling facility in Rossmore. Assistance was provided on Structures which included 5 Road and 7 Rail Bridges.

Baulderstone                                                            Perth City Link Rail Project

Assistance on the bid for the PCLRP Project. The project will lower the Perth to Fremantle railway line into tunnel and approach ramps between the Horseshoe Bridge and Milligan Street. It will also create new facilities in Perth Station and connects above ground and underground platforms of the station via a pedestrian tunnel.

Kellogg Brown and Root                                        Seaford Rail Extension Study

Focus was on the proposed 1200 metre long rail viaduct spanning the Onkaparinga Valley. Inputs included constructability, schedule and value for money advice.

Laing O’Rourke                                                        Inner Harbour Deepening and Berth Works Project

Assistance on the bid for the IHD Project. Providing the proposed JV Manager for the execution phase of the works.

Laing O’Rourke                                                        Wellington Dam

Assistance on the both the hard dollar and subsequent Alliance bid for the Wellington Dam Project. Providing the proposed Alliance Manager for the works.

Inpex                                                                         Maret Islands Study

Pre FEED study of the 410 metre long bridge between the Maret Islands for the Inpex gas project.
